Jens Valentin – CTO

 

Background

Jens Valentin brings decades of hands-on experience in industrial engineering and technical operations to his role as Chief Technical Officer at GoC Nexus. A certified master in plant electronics and a specialist in highly regulated production environments, Jens is responsible for overseeing all technical planning, implementation, and compliance across the GoC Nexus infrastructure.

In 2018, Jens took on the ambitious challenge of designing and building one of Germany’s first EU-GMP-certified medical cannabis facilities. His work encompassed the complete technical setup for import, packaging, labelling, and release of cannabis products under stringent pharmaceutical standards. From the earliest stages of development, he has managed critical qualification processes — including DQ, IQ, OQ, and PQ — with precision and efficiency.

Before entering the cannabis industry, Jens held senior technical roles in international industrial plant engineering and the cigarette industry. This cross-sector experience, paired with his methodical approach and deep regulatory knowledge, enables him to lead complex technical projects with exceptional attention to detail and compliance.

At GoC Nexus, Jens ensures that all technical systems and processes meet the highest operational and regulatory standards — laying the foundation for consistent quality, safety, and scalability in every aspect of the company's production lifecycle.
